Ficta design was founded in Izmir in 2021 by MSc Architect Hande Berkmen. As the meaning of its name “Ficta” means in old French Latin as “Fiction”, the members of the studio strongly believe that all design products must have a trigering story.

Ficta is quite active in various design services of different scales, from architectural and interior design to urban planning. Believing the power of collective work, the team manages and coordinates the design process in cooperation with different disciplines, colobrating many professionals on various subjects. Ficta also takes an active role in construction, project management and supervision processes.

As a young, dynamic and solution-oriented team, Ficta Design fundamentally assures that design processes should be operated in line with user expectations and needs as well as contextual and environmental inputs.
